I really want to read this book but I don't have enough money for it so I hope I can get it soon!!
A Drop of Hope
By Keith Calabrese
A well. A wish. And a little drop of hope.
Times are tough. Jobs are scarce and miracles are in short supply. But something strange is happening in If Only, Ohio. An old well has suddenly, impossibly, begun to grant wishes. And three sixth graders are the only ones who know why.
Ernest Wilmette believes a good deed makes magic happen. Ryan Hardy thinks they should just mind their own business. Lizzy MacComber believes in facts, not fairy tales. Of course, you don't have to believe in wishes to make one.
As more wishes are made, the well's true secret gets harder and harder to keep. Ernest, Ryan, and Lizzy know they can't fix the world. But in their own little corner of it, they can give everyone a little hope... one wish at a time.

I want to read this book because I read the description and it said it was about a magic well, and I love Harry Potter and books that include magic!
This is an amazing book that shows us how far an act of kindness can go and how strong hope is. The Thompkins Well has a big secret; That Ryan, Ernest, and Lizzy (The Main Characters) they can not keep for too long. The myth of the Thompkins Well is coming true, and people are granted the wishes, too. So when the next turn of events comes, that learn maximum that can learn in a day. They stick together the whole time, and make the town a better place... This is the ultimate book that has the qualities of all good books combine, and keeps the reader engaged through the whole book, a certain "WOW" factor.
When three kids discover a well that, with their help, can grant wishes, they begin to help their small town in ways they never new they could. But granting wishes means that word will spread about the well. And the more people who now about the well the harder the secret gets to keep. Will the secret of the well get out, or will they risk everything to keep the well secret? This book is and amazing story of what can happen with the tiniest drop of hope, and that when you work together for the good of all, you can make things change.
This book is Incredible! It is mainly about two boys and a girl, Ernest, the "rich kid" who is actually really kind won't pass up this chance to help people. Ryan, who at first doesn't believe and thinks they should just leave it alone. Lizzy, who made a wish of her own and is somewhere in between. They found a wishing well that seems to actually be granting wishes and they are the only kids who know why. They all end up risking their lives to protect the secret of the well. Keith Calabrese spun a wonderful tale with extremely relatable and believable characters, all trying to find hope, even if its just a drop.
This book is amazing. It shows the perseverance of each of the characters in their own way. It also shows the realistic aspect of each character, as there are parts where they seem to give up and even experience a false calm. Nevertheless, overall, this book demonstrates what it means to be there for one another, to overcome adversary, and to be the one to give a miracle or hope to another person in need. The book also has a whirlwind of events that happen that will make the readers move on in anticipation and gasp in surprise. The author spins creative tales that somehow tie everything together in different parts of the story. Furthermore, with a variety of characters, Ryan, Ernest, Tommy, Lizzy, Winston, and others that tie into the story, the reader can experience what each character has and will go through, giving the readers relatable characteristics and making the story that much enjoyable. Lastly, if you, as a reader, would like to read a truly heartfelt and intriguing story, this book, "A Drop of Hope" is definitely for you.
i would definitely recommend this to fans of how to avoid extinction and over the moon. i really enjoyed this book because it had a really good pace and how everything interconnected was super cool. some parts were really confusing but over all, i would give it a good five stars.
