Aw that's terrible! I hope you feel better!

I just recently had the flu and it stinks really bad. I hope you feel better!

This week's quote (So sorry I forgot to do this for a couple of weeks): "What we laugh at is an indicator of who we are." Have a great rest of your day!

Here's to another great book I just read! Cyclone by Doreen Cronin is amazing! Twelve-year-old Nora's family vacation to Coney Island to ride the world-famous cyclone rollercoaster was supposed to be the best part of her summer. Instead, it ends in tragedy when her 13-year-old cousin, Riley, has a stroke moments after they get off the ride. After Riley is rushed to the hospital and the family learns about her undiagnosed heart condition, Nora immediately feels guilty for blackmailing Riley into riding the rollercoaster and thinks it's her fault that Riley's in a coma. As Riley slowly begins to regain her verbal and motor skills, Nora and her family start to learn how to support each other as well as Riley on her journey to recovery. I would definitely recommend this to pretty much anyone out there!

Ohhh, that's sounds very remarkable book! Thanks for recommending this to us!

Really? That is super interesting, thank you so much for sharing this!!

Heyyyy there, everyone!!! I just started reading new book which about D/deaf people "Give me a Sign" It's about 17-years-old girl, Lilah who feels not "deaf enough" to fully identify herself as a Deaf person. She used to be a camper at her old camp, Gray Wolf but stopped at 8th grade then basically became a Junior counselor and met few other deaf people plus one hearing girl. It's pretty good so far and I'll recommend this book if you are about 14+

That sounds really neat, I'll have to check it out sometime!

Yeah, it is! And hope that you would enjoy this book! 🤠

Thank you very much for the book suggestion, I'll have to check it out!!

Aww, Techie! I like that, it's got a ring to it!! 😂

I've been wondering... Are you interested in tech? I mean, your user is techfashion0315.

Yes, I do! Technology has always interested me. My dad works in cybersecurity and I want to do that too!

I'll try and find it at my library next time i go

It's super new book so I think library has it right now.

actually so i dont spend 20 minutes looking around the library im going to reserve it so i can get it at the front desk

Personally, I enjoy sitting at the library, because it's so quiet and peaceful! sometimes I also sit at the library coffee shop.

Hey! That sounds like an amazing book! My name is Fern and I'm from Alaska. I was wondering, based on your username, are you deaf too?

Do you use ASL? I'm not deaf, but my sister is, so I am pretty fluent in ASL!

Hey! Yes, I do lip read and use ASL. I don't use cochlear implants, because I wouldn't benefit from them. Sorry for answering a little late!

Oh hi, Fern! Yeah, this book is SO GOOD!! And it's nice to meet you, Fern, and Alaska is pretty cool and I wanted to visit it someday! Yeah, I'm deaf, profoundly deaf with two cochlear implants. It's REALLY NICE to meet another deaf member here! 🤠

Cool! Thats what I thought, I just didn't want to make any assumptions:)
