Charlie Joe Jackson, the most reluctant reader ever born, made it his mission in the first book to get through middle school without reading a single book from cover to cover. Now he's back, and trying desperately to get straight A's in order to avoid going to academic camp for the summer. In order to do this, he will have to betray his friend, lose the girl of his dreams, and end up acting in a school play about the inventor of paper towels. Charlie Joe's not exactly the "school play kind of guy", but desperate times call for desperate measures.

This is a good book.
Charlie Joe Jackson has gotten bad grades and is now in the danger of going to nerd camp! Now he must find a way to get his grades up without doing tons of work. This really cool book will get you laughing at the ideas that Charlie Joe creates.
Charlie Joe Jackson is a boy who is desperate for extra credit so he doesn't have to go to camp ritubukie. I thought this book was funny and inappropriate in two parts of the book because first somebody kicks somebody in the you know what and second somebody throws a candy apple into you know what. I recommend this book if you have trouble in school because it would be kind of like your personality.
