I was very surprised when I finished this book. Compared to its predecessor, this book is a lot more deep and intense. The previous book was all fairy tales and magic, so when I read this book, I was slightly shocked when it was so emotional and fierce. Enna Burning is from the point of view of Enna, who learned from her brother how to create and use fire. But because of fire her brother isn't here. He was consumed by it, and the same fate could happen to Enna if she doesn't learn how to control it. The descriptions were so profound and vivid, and the writing is like you were the one whose body is slowly giving up. I really liked the way it all unfolded, and I feel like this scenario could be symbolic to other hardships and prejudices we face today. It is quite the intense book, so I'd recommend it for readers 10+

Enna, a 16 years old, who has just learned that she now has the ability of fire, but struggling with controlling the fire`s immense power over her major desire of saving her town, Bayern. Her friend, Queen Isi, has asked her to be her maiden and Enna accepts. That`s one part of the book but I would def recommend this book. - Happy Reading!
This book was about a girl who had the powers to create fire out of nowhere. Her name is Enna. Although her powers are definitely magic, you can read it and not feel that this is a fantasy
I literally am in love with this series!!! Enna is the best charecter and she is so good hearted. She has troubles through this hard time in her life, but she always has Isi to count on!!! I RECCOMEND THIS BOOK.
When Enna's brother tells her not to open a mysterious manuscript right before he dies, Enna disobeys him and finds out a dangerous secret, how to control fire. As hiding her secret becomes harder and harder, she also struggles to keep herself from hurting anybody with fire. But each passing day makes Enna feel like she is being consumed by the fire and soon everything goes out of control. I would recommend for ages 10+ So I really liked this book and it was super enjoyable. As the second book to the Baron series, this was also written very well. I would definitely recommend this.
loved it
This book is very good for people in grades 4 and up. It has good times and bad times in it. But I don't recommend it for kids who like to read books such as Just Grace. If you are a boy, quit reading NOW! Just read this book you'll love it
Enna has always been my favorite character! It will be confusing without reading goose girl first. Enna has special abilities, but that isn't always a good thing. Her best friend, Isi, helps her though.
I read this book because of this author shannon hale, and it was fantastic. This book truly amazed me because of all of the interesting twists, and it was so good, I finished it in two days. I couldn't put the book down after I started reading it. Enna is a powerful character that has special abilities, and she is one of those characters you can never forget. I actually did not read goose girl first, and I still found it was very interesting. Read this book because you'll love it!
A follow up to the goose girl, this one is equally as fun. Enna is a really strong character that you will blow your mind away at once. If you liked the goose girl, you will really love this too. But I have to warn you, you should read these books in order, it helps to know the back round of all the characters from the first book. Read!!!
