    Editor, when will we receive our prizes? Will it be as soon as possible, or would it be at the end of the contest? Also, when does the contest end? When it is October 1st, or until the prizes last?

      The first set of prizes should start arriving soon - it usually takes between 6-8 weeks after you win to win the prize - and they will continue to be sent out even after the program is done.

    If you have chosen some books as a prize, but dogo hasn't received your consent form, are you definitely going to get your chosen books if the form is received by the end of the summer?

      you will have a warning on your idogo page - if you don't see anything you are all set

      Editor I sent off my consent form almost three weeks ago via snail mail, and it STILL says that Dogo Books hasn't received my form. Should I just scan another copy that is all filled out?

        yes and e-mail it to me at editor@dogonews.com - make sure it is signed by one of parents though

        I wrote reviews yesterday and saved and submitted them. When i checked this morning, i saw that all my reviews were deleted and I was wondering why. I have already rewritten them.

          If they got deleted it is probably because our system caught some verbatim copying of text either from the book or from an existing review. In order to win prizes you have to read the assigned books and give us your honest opinion of it

        Do we have to send the form to get our prizes? One more thing, how many books do you need to read to get 1 prize?

          Yes you have to send the form, or else they won't know your address, and you need to read 3 books to get 1 prize.

            Do they have to be books that you read this summer? What if you've read a book on the list some other time?

              Well, actually, you could have read the book some other time, but you have to write the review this summer. Let's say you wrote a review for this one book in September, and it's on the Reading List. If you write another review this summer for that book, the review you write this summer will count.

        If I review books without my consent form being received yet, will it affect me being able to win prizes? I was also wondering if you could put the whole Harry Potter series on the summer reading list instead of just the first book? Thank You.

          no your prizes will not be effected - Just make sure we get it before the program ends. It's too late to add books this year but we will keep it in mind for next year's summer reading program
