    where do you read ? and how do the books come in?

      You have to get the books from your local library (if you don't have them already.) DOGObooks does not provide you with the books on the READING LIST. If you read and review three books, then you get to choose one of the books from the PRIZE LIST. The book from the PRIZE LIST is completely free! (LOL, I feel like I am advertising XDD) Anyway the books come in through the mail. Your parents have to fill out a Parent Consental Form that says it's okay for you to get a free book from DOGO News and you need to write your address for the Parental Consental Form. You can scan it and e-mail it to editor@dogonews.com and the editor will receive it. DOGObooks will mail the book to your address and you can have an awesome time spending your days with books :) (Sorry if this was long)

        Hi Gilbert in order to win books you need to write real reviews about books - a general review like "Its a great book" automatically gets deleted from the system

        I wrote like 4 book reviews yesterday on my reading log and today they were blank, like I had written anything. Why is this happening?

            you need to also be signed into the summer reading program - your reviews are in the system just not counted for the summer reading program - try do them again and see if it works

              So whatever you did this time worked - do exactly that when you are trying to review books for summer reading the next time around - but you also have to right reviews about books you read to win. Speculating on a book or wishing you could read it will not earn you prizes - those get automatically deleted

              Well, I think DOGObooks and DOGOmovies are the best reviewing sites for kids, but the best reading "site" (because site can also mean place) is any library in the world - in my case, either my hometown library, the Library of Congress, or the New York Public Library!

                Featured reviews get chosen because they are well-written and they're on-topic. If you just write, "Cool book," it doesn't really show you even read the book... But if you write "from the heart", then.. well, you'll probably get featured.
