I really liked this book, it was very sad, but VERY WELL WRITTEN! This is sad but AMAZING, I think everyone should read it, as long as you are at least 13. Adam is an amazing character, so was Kim and Teddy. READ IT!!!!!!

A sophisticated, layered, and heartachingly beautiful story about the power of family and friends, the choices we all make—and the ultimate choice Mia commands.

Wow, I read this book forever ago! Mia is in a car crash and watches everything going on around her in a near death experience, where she struggles with the decision to stay on earth or leave it all behind. Great book, skip the sequel though.
ONE Word: PERFECTION, i read this a time ago and i love it, Mia was a really good characther and Adamm excited for the movie, i hope do justice to the book (:
I read the book, since I heard there would be a movie. It's very romantic, but kind of sad. It's about this girl named Mia Hall who plays the cello. On the other hand there's a guy named Adam who is a rock'n roll person. They are both musically talented, but in different genre. When her family was driving they got in a car accident, and they all passed away except Mia. But she did not wake up till the end of the story. When Mia was still in the hospital, she starts remembering of her childhood memories with her family and with Adam. The whole story is mostly talking about the flashbacks and everyone trying to wake Mia up especially Adam. I found this book extremely slow pacing, but if you like romantic and sad books, you'll probably want to read this.
Your review totally deserves the cover of dogo :)
i really want to read this it sounds really good and touching
Another awesome read full of intriguing details.
I found the title to be misleading, that the writer had no clue what she was writing, & that I still loved the story and all of the things along with it. It has many flashbacks, though which can distract a reader from the task at hand. Should something like this ever happen to me, I would write about it in as much detail and emotion as possible. I know that there is such a slim possibility of this happening to me, but I know that no matter what, whether it was true or not, it pulled at heartstrings I didn't know I had.
I found this book to be a little slower than I had expected, and most of Mia`s story- I found- was filled by her memories from her chilhood and early teen years. That said, I found myself immersed in Mia`s life, and almost stopped caring about the accident and situation she was stuck in. I think I would`ve enjoyed this book even more if Gayle Forman had including more action or emotion in Mia`s situation; losing her family was devastating, but I felt like I should`ve been crying instead of just continuing to read when Mia was describing her perspective on the accident. I enjoyed this book, no doubt, but I wanted it to be more emotional, and I felt like Mia`s many flashbacks destracted me from the story.
