Percy Jackson is such a fun book series to read, I didn't think I was going to like it because it's meant for kids but once I finally read it I fell in love. The characters are so unique and funny I wish that they were my friends, they go on an epic quest and there's lots of action. The main point for the book is Greek mythology and I think the author did a really good job of incorporating it into the story and explaining it all in a way that anyone could understand after reading the book I feel like a know a lot more about Greek myths than most people do.

I think this is amazing. This is the best book I ever read.I would recomend this book to people who love books. They will love it！
I love this book! This is absolutely one of my favorites. I like a lot of Rick Riordan's books, but this one is especially my favorite. Percy is so relatable as a character and doesn't seem like the son of a god. He seems like a guy I'd hang out with, and that drew me into the story.
To be honest, I never really got hooked into the Percy Jackson series, though I know mast people are. However, I would say that this book is good because it is the introduction of the series and it gets you kicked into the series. My favorite part of the book was when Percy joined Camp Olympus and got introduced to his half brother, who turned out the be a cyclops. Over all, I think that this was a pretty good book and a great start to an action packed series.
Well, I, for one, love the way Riordan mixes the modern world with the ancient one of Greek mythology. After reading this book (and series) I learned a LOT more about Greek mythology than I had before. Percy Jackson is a funny, risk-taker, brave character in this book. Riordan really shows the personalities in synchronization with the old myths of the gods and monsters of the Underworld. I’d never thought of there being demigods, children of the most famous twelve Greek gods and goddesses, children with the personalities of the gods themselves. Percy may give the impression of someone who dosen’t know much about the Greek world, but when it comes to saving those he cares about, he’ll do anything to help. This book is funny, woven with just the right amount of seriousness, betrayal, mystery, and overall, the mix of two well-known worlds.
It was good and very entertaining! If you enjoy action packed stories and funny stories, you would like this book very much! If you read it, you would like it!
Okay to be honest it was not the best book as i heard people say, I feel like i am not really into such things, like i read it but just to see how it ends and give it a chance.
I did'nt personlay like the book, but I know a lot of other people like the book. If you like mithology you should deffinitly read the book.

This was a book that most the kids in my third grade read, and one of the teachers read, I wasn't in her class so I missed out till, a few days ago. I read this, and love it. I now wish I was a demigod. I love the danger of the quest and the story describe. I loved the book so much I begged my grandma to get the movie, witch she did. The move wasn't bad. Who am I kidding the book is way better. (In my opinion) Remember my opinion means nothing don't take anything I say to heart. I normally side with the book. The book has more detail and let's you picture and imagine things how you would like to see it. Sorry, for my redundancies,
