The Absolutely True Diary of a Part-Time Indian

The Absolutely True Diary of a Part-Time Indian

By Sherman Alexie

This story is about an Indian teenager named Junior (also named) Arnold Spirit who met a lot of tragedies and obstacles. This book taught me an important lesson: “Life Is Not Perfect”. Some parts in the story were sad and some parts happened so sudden that I wished that I could make changes to it. Also, Junior in the story was really brave, braver than anyone I met before. If I was him, I would never go to that all-white school and I would never join the basketball team. Even if I transferred to the all-white school, I wouldn’t have the courage to meet my one and only friend Rowdy, and I wouldn’t have the guts to talk to my crush Penelope. His persistence determined me that everyone could cross the border and do the same thing that he did. This is a hilarious, sad and awe-inspiring story.

InuYasha, Vol. 48: Feeding Frenzy

InuYasha, Vol. 48: Feeding Frenzy

By Rumiko Takahashi

The reason why i don't "love" this book is that because there are about 84 books in this series it makes it really hard to find the book that you are up to. And if you wanted to find book no.34 but got book no.36 nothing would make sense. This book i would say is for 12+ because the main character Kagome has to find and kill demonds for the Shikon shards.

Warriors: The Rise of Scourge

Warriors: The Rise of Scourge

By Erin Hunter, Dan Jolley

Tiny is a house cat who lives with his family in a Twolegplace. His siblings, Socks and Ruby, often make fun of him, since he is smaller and weaker than them. One day, this curious young kit ventures out into the woods—and meets a group of wild cats, who give him plenty of scratches...but a deep pit of vengeance and foreboding forms inside him. Vowing to defeat the wild cats one day, he wanders around in the Twolegplace, and happens to get a dog’s tooth stuck in his collar. Everyone thought he had killed the dog himself, and, enjoying the attention, Tiny changes his name to Scourge and leaves his old life behind. And this is how BloodClan came to be. Gathering a band of the toughest cats he knew, Scourge starts to kill other dogs and house cats—but his desire for vengeance was never quenched. Will he continue his terrible reign? Read this book to find out!
