My Sister's Keeper
By Jodi Picoult
This book is about 13-year-old Anna who's sister, Kate, has been affected by acute promyelocytic leukemia, a kind of bone marrow and blood cancer. Anna was conceived as a donor, so she constantly donates blood and stem cells to keep her sister alive. But one day, when Kate suffers from kidney failure, their mother, Sara decides that Anna should donate one to Kate. Anna can't stand how her life has been defined solely by Kate's sickness and wants to live a life of her own, but she doesn't want this to result in Kate's death. She decides to sue her parents for medical emancipation, and with the help of a lawyer, they go to court. After a difficult decision, the judge rules in Anna's favor and grants her medical emancipation. However, shortly after that, Anna ends up in a tragic car accident and loses her life, later donating a kidney to Kate and saving Kate's life. My Sister's Keeper is a heartwarming story about family love, sacrifice, and the hard decisions in life. I think this book is really worth trying out!
Amelia Bedelia Chapter Book #2: Amelia Bedelia Unleashed
By Herman Parish
Amelia Bedelia, a girl who tend to take things quite literally, even the idioms itself. She has a dream of becoming a big sister but things took a twist as her friend Diana, who work with dogs, walking them for their neighbors told Amelia Bedelia that she would need some help with the dogs, met a new friend with a gorgeous dog but often get teased at. Later on in the book, she helps her friend with the dog show, which of course, lost but now wanted to get a puppy for her. This book is cute and also funny and I remember that I really loved this book when I was young kid in elementary school. Would definitely recommend for young kids who are starting to read those chapter books. - Happy Reading!

Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets: The Illustrated Edition (Harry Potter, Book 2)
By J.K. Rowling
I love this book , It's so descriptive i feel like im really there. I wish that one day I can glide through the air on a broom just like Harry. My favorite part of the book is when Harry tricks Lucius Malfoy into freeing Dobby by giving him a sock. If you want to read this book I recommend you read the first one.
Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban (Book 3)
undefined
Book Review by Harry Pepper Sauce - If you like magic, this is a book for you. This book is Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban, which is book 3 of the Harry Potter series. The author is J.K. Rowling. There are a couple of settings but here are a few: the Dursley’s house and Hogwarts. The first problem is that Harry gets a letter and it lands on someone’s head. But the main problem is that Sirius Black escaped from Azkaban (the wizard prison). People think he killed 12 muggles (non-magic people) and 1 wizard but the wizard was an animagus. I give this book 5 stars because on the way to Hogwarts (wizard school) there are spells that I think caused action. And it didn’t take too long to read. It also had interesting spells, curses, hexes, charms, and jinxes. I also liked how it explains how Harry got a godfather, and that Snape steals Harry’s invisibility cloak. I recommend this book to second graders and up. If you’re under 7, have an adult read it to you but it might be scary. It inspired me to beg my parents to buy me books 5, 6, and 7 of the Harry Potter series. And remember read to find out what an animagus is.
