Another historical fictional work that blew me away. Great adventure story of boy who saved his family during the American Revolution. In between each chapter there are some rarly heard of historical facts regarding the Revolution. Good Stuff.

Man, you picked up a lot of info. I wonder what we may learn about other animals in the future... I think that just because they can't tell us doesn't mean they don't have a system of communication. For instance elephants communicate with sounds in frequency that humans can't hear. What would you like to know more about?

People don't think a whole lot sometimes. Habitat loss is usually for the wood. Sri Lanka, an island nation, use to be all rainforest...but it now it is all gone; chopped down to make furniture, tourist trinkets and such.

People don't always make the right choices, unfortunately. All it takes is for people to start doing the right thing to make a difference. : )

I wondered the exact thing. I would be a little on edge if I were to make that step...but maybe he experience so much in his life before the walk.

Hmm, the flag. It rather reminds me of the European explorers who stake their country's flag into new lands....but those lands were already inhabited. Some things never change.
