MY students are always looking for a new series to read. I know this is one that will be requested and they will anxiously await Book 2

My students love this series and I could use a Halloween themed book for the class library

My reluctant readers always beg to read Weird but True books. They are a must in the classroom library.

Who wouldn't want to forget a bad day ? Such a creative story that shows it is never too late to be a better version of you!

Give this book a chance. I put this down a few times but in the end it was a great read. I am considering using this as the first Read Aloud this fall. I love how Applegate uses personification to teach a beautiful message.

My heart was pouring out love as I read read each page. What a beautiful reminder to us that our country offers so many opportunities that we take for granted. Be prepared to cry.

I cant say enough about this must read. Delphine and her sisters will make you laugh, cry ,and cheer them on as they learn about social injustice and standing up for what is right.

Hi I am Kelley or Mrs. Chaney to my 4th grade students. I cannot wait to get back into the classroom and engage with my students. Literacy is in every facet of our learning from language arts, social studies, science, and even math! I have made it my mission to become the best teacher I can be. The National Board Certification process for Literacy has provided me with so many opportunities to learn how children experience reading, so now I want to put this new knowledge to work. Providing access to a wide array of literature genres, authors, reading levels, and topics is without a doubt a major stepping stone to win over even the most reluctant readers. I am hoping with the support of generous donations, I can provide engaging books to begin my mission of hooking my 4th graders into becoming lifelong readers.
