I am going to tell about one of my favorite comics. It is called Transformers by James Roberts. This book is about some groups of Transformers called the Autobots. This book takes place after a war on a planet called Cybertron. The protagonists in my book are Autobots and there names are Ratchet,Tailgate,Rodimus,Drift, and Ultra mag. The antagonist in my book are the Decepticons. One of the conflicts in my book is that the Decepticons are doing something to the Autobots even though the war is over and won. Another conflict in my book is that an Autobot has betrayed the rest of the Autobots. The way Ratchet fixed this conflict was pretty cool. I liked this book because it has action and more. If you find this book I think you will like it. The endAbout 9 years agowayleb added a book review.
39 clues the sword thief By Peter Lerangis Do you like adventure and action? If you do read the thirty-nine clues. In the beginning of the book they were on a plane to Japan. The main characters are Amy, and Dan. They are looking for a treasure that their parents were looking for. I like this book because it has action. The antagonists are the kabras because they try to kill the protagonists Amy and Dan. One of the major conflicts is when they were getting chased by the kabras and they jumped out of the car and Dan hit his head on a wall, the other one is when they try to find out the password for a secret place. One of them find out the password and they find out what's inside the room. I liked this book because it had action and adventure.About 9 years agoethhut added a book review.
Gregor the overlander by Suzanne Collins is one of the best books I've read in awhile Protagonist: Gregor and boots antagonist: spiders . It starts with Gregor at the “tween” ages, and his 4 year old sister “Boots” playing in the laundry room when they for some strange reason fall through a grate in the corner and end up in this new world with rodents and insects as big as tall humans. Knowing Gregor, he wasn't confused, or even scared for that matter. As curious as curious could be, he searches this new world. And sure enough, it's inhabited with tall oversized humans. Soon after the meetup with these so called “humans.” Their placed on the backs of huge hairy cockroaches and sent to the “Regalia” . Gregor and boots later shake hand with the royal family of this underground city and are handed the prophecy . One conflict is when they unwillingly have to fight off spiders to fulfill the prophecy. The second conflict is when they find out their fate. The turning point I can't mention because it would give away the plot It states that the two overlanders and eight underlanders will venture to find the lost overlander with Luxa- the soon to be queen of the underworld. Will Luxa ripred the rat, a couple of spiders and all while riding bats, find the lost overlander Read Gregor the overlander to find out. I recommend this book because it keeps you on the edge of your seat.About 9 years agocamlav added a book review.
Dark life by Kat Falls This book is about a guy named Ty and his girlfriend named Gemma. They encounter lots of earth shattering earthquakes so the only way to survive underwater. On their journey they meet a lot of their friends trapped underwater. By now your probably thinking how do they breath underwater well they have suits with rebreathers on them so they can live deep under water. For food and water they go to sunken ships that where there from the Beginning by that I mean the Rebels with big submarines shoot down other submarines and scavenger bots. If you are still wondering if there are huge monsters in deep blue yes. Maybe there are some still in our ocean today but they encounter big heavyweight giants that swim but don't eat but megalodon does. Rebels are people who scavenge around for food. They are basically people from the apocalypse but they are saine at the same time. If they were to go up to the surface they would deal with some pretty bad radiation sickness. But there very little chances you could survive because there are lots of tsunamis happening which break the floor and causes immediate volcanic eruption. In this book they live in the ocean because the world has basically ended and the only way to survive is to go underwater. The protagonists of the book are Ty and Gemma, the antagonist of the book would probably be the raiders or the Rebels. The one major conflict is that they have trouble surviving and the other major conflict is that most of there things get taken by the raiders.Ty tried his best by gathering food and shelters for other people, and they can't really do anything to the raiders because they have armor, guns, food, medicine, and men (lots of them).Personally I liked the book because it was sort of my type of book what I mean by that it is a fictional book. But I highly recommend this book for kids who can read with speed because I just barely finished the book in time. Have you been considering to read any of Jordan Romero's books? You probably haven't. If you were considering to read one of his books a good book to start out with would be No Summit Out Of Sight. If you noticed the title it's about summits/mountains and it's about a boy who looks at a mural with all the tallest mountains in the world. So he got inspired to climb all the mountains. He climbed his first mountain when he was 12. Once he tells his dad his dad wanted him to follow his dreams so they started training, struggling, and bonding on the way to climb the summits. The first mountain they climbed is in Africa and it is called Kilimanjaro. On their journey they run into lots of dangerous ice, running out of (body) energy, falling, and the agony of being cold. At the age of 15 he became the youngest person to reach the summits of the tallest mountains. His journey begins in his hometown of Georgia and he climbed mountains all over the world from 2007 to 2011. The protagonist of the book is Jordan Romero and the antagonist of the is Jordan, dad, and Karen because they struggle on there way to each and every mountain. One major conflict was the mom because she was worried about Jordan's safety and because she didn't want him to get frostbite either. Another conflict was they were in the middle of the mountain and Jordan didn't want to go any further because he was to cold and he was struggling to walk because he had no energy left. Jordan solved his conflict by resisting the cold and pushing through it. This was a very good book to read but I'm into fiction books but if you like nonfiction books this is a very good book and if you are wondering it's kinda based of a movie coming out called "Everest". But anyway read the book and enjoy.About 9 years agocamlav added a book review.

The Dumbest Idea Ever The Dumbest Idea Ever by Jimmy Gownly is one of the best books I've ever read. It's about the author's life from early elementary school all the way up to his senior year in high school. Jimmy encounters trouble with schoolwork, crushes, and even chicken pox. He stays up all night every night, trying to think of new ideas for a comic book that will hopefully change his life. When his best friend suggests making it about their lives he just laughs in his face. Later on, when he catches pneumonia and misses his championship Basketball game he thinks for a while. Maybe a graphic novel about themselves isn't such a bad idea. Jimmy isn't only the protagonist but the antagonist as well. Jimmy realizes that he has been causing most of his own problems and writing this book can turn things around and make him more popular. I really liked this book because I think that there is a Jimmy in everyone and no one is perfect. Anyone can achieve greatness if they put their mind to it.About 9 years ago
