Not saying that Washington D.C. should be a state or anything (because of the Constitution) Maybe land bought from Mexico, Canada, or maybe some new islands that the U.S. can buy. If you have any objections, just know, it's my opinion.

I agree with Aosgood, Maybe some territories (Part of the U.S. but has a different government system.) Should be a part of the U.S., maybe get a new territory, and make Porto Rico a state because Porto Rico has a good resource for Farming and manufacturing, The U.S. has to feed over 300 Million People and Porto Rico can add to that decrease of World hunger.
