Personally, I didn't like this book. It was a staple of my earlier days in elementary school, and definitely cemented into the culture of my school. However, in recent years that has been a bit lost. The book its self is just okay, but to be honest it was never really, you know, it for me. I usually never read the book, and by third grade I have already outgrown the book. Sure, it has a lot of gross-out humor, but unlike other books I don't condemn that, because it always managed to sneak out a chuckle from me. That kind of humor is frowned upon towards lots of people, so this book easily is a, "Either way it could work." If you like the humor and generally like the books, then read it, but if you're of a higher reading level, I recommend reading something else. To be honest there are so many other books within this kind of genre for early elementary school books, there's just too many to choose. By the time I got in fifth grade (Like right now) everyone is reading Dogman, which makes me a bit sad, because Captain Underpants had a place in every child's heart. It was the book that defined a generation. A book that went pass that need to be fancy and serious, and took a generally more humorous approach. That is what I like about Captain Underpants. It's what every kid likes into one book, the kind of collection of all that makes childhood fun. If you don't like it, think it's ridiculous, that's fine. Although for the other people, read it. It's a classic and a famous book. While you have masterpieces like Fahrenheit 451 and The Odyssey in there, hidden in the hall of fame lays a small spot, for Captain Underpants.

Absolute classic. Ever since I heard about it, I knew this is what I wanted to read. And it made me like it a lot. Arthur Dent meets Ford, and they escape from the Earth being destroyed, and they land on the Heart of Gold and they just do random stuff. It's a fun book, must read. It isn't exactly a hard book or anything, but you should read it because of the humor. In this book you'll read it, learn about some random probability math stuff, then say, "Welp, that was good, thanks for all the fish!" Apparently there's more books, which I have to get! In all, yea its good.

I live in Florida, so basically every kid knows about these books. They all have this one word sound, but don't be fooled if you like continuity, you're not in luck. These books have different identities united under one title, Florida. In school we had to choose a book to research and stuff. I previously read Chomp in gifted the previous year, so I was like, "Ok, why not?" And that was a very good decision. It stars Noah and the family and this mysterious boat called the Corral Queen that was totally illegal. They have to bring people along the way, somehow defy the house arrest his father is in, and save the day. The Corral Queen is supposedly dumping sewage into the sea. I read little books, and when I do, oh boy. This is supposed to tell themes about courage, standing for whats right, and sticking together. Noah and the gang always thinks that what the Corral Queen is wrong, and they know that. Despite their mishaps, the possible murders, blood on jeeps, operation Royal Flush, they do this for the good of Florida and it's coast. The gang sticks together and never gives up. Though, there is one problem. After the Royal Flush, the ending seems a bit stretched out. The thing that happened, happened. I found myself ending the book on a, "Wow that ending felt stretched out." feeling. Just my thoughts on the book.

Harry Potter is a weird case of on and off for me. I read it until I don't then I think, "I should read this" so I read it and I got to the part where the giant or something comes and I'm like, "Let's read this section so I'm left on a cliffhanger to the point where I have to read the entire book again!" Let's say I just don't exactly like this one.
