I loved this book because you can tell how much the characters are growing up. For example, Mary Ann, she is discovering who she is from how she acts to how she wants to look, but when the new boy moves to town she goes back to her old self. I would rate the book a 5/5. This book was amazing I have read it a couple of other times to because how good it was.
