Was he going to eat a child? My favourite part is when the crocodile was hiding like a coconut tree and saw some tasty children. Roald Dahl is such a fantastic author because he entertains the reader and the bad characters always learn a lesson. Quentin Blake is the illustrator and he is excellent because if you look at the drawings you understand the story better and you are surely going to laugh. If you like funny books, I recommend this book to you. It’s just right for kids that like to be entertained and laugh. When I read this book, I couldn't put it DOWN.

This book is about a greedy crocodile that lived on the muddiest, yuckiest river in Africa. He had eaten disgusting fish all his miserable life so now he wanted to eat a juicy child. ´´I'm going to fill my empty tummy with something yummy, yummy, yummy.´´ he said to all the jungle animals as he shared his secret plans too. When he was about to eat a juicy child doing his plan an animal appeared... It was Humpy Rumpy! And Humpty Rumpy saved the little boy and girl who were about to be eaten by the Enormous Crocodile. Or another time, he went to a playground and pretended he was a seesaw and when a child was about to sit on his back, the monkey appeared and he shouted to that child ´´RUN! RUN! That is not a seesaw, it is the Enormous Crocodile and he’s about to eat you!´´ And more things happen... Do you think he's going to eat a child? If you want read more, buy it! My favourite part is when the elephant grabs him from his tail and swings him around. I like the way the author writes because he uses a lot of details and a good vocabulary. This is a good book and I recommend it to boys and girls between 8 and 10 years old because it is short and funny.

Do you think the enormous crocodile is going to eat a kid? My favorite part was when the crocodile dressed up as a palm tree, and tricks the kids but the hippopotamus crashed against the crocodile and the to kids were safe. I would recommend this book to a kid who likes funny animals like the crocodile that thinks he is clever, but he isn't. If you like animals, kids, nature and failed plans read this book!!!
This funny story is about a crocodile that had only been eating fish for all his life. He wanted to eat juicy children, so he got out of the brownest, muddiest disgusting water of Africa and he went into the big and scary jungle saying: “I'm going to fill my hungry, empty tummy with something yummy, yummy, yummy.” But he had a lot of obstacles and that ones were that a lot of animals from the jungle didn't let him eat the children. Will he get to eat the children? If you want to know more about this book you will have to buy it! My favourite part of the story is when the enormous crocodile pretended he was a see-saw. The illustrations are very good and if someone doesn't know how to read, they can understand the book by only looking at the pictures. I recommend this book to anyone who likes to read about silly animals! This book is so awesome that I couldn't put it down. Roald Dahl´s writing style is so good that you can read all his books and you will not be bored. He exaggerates things and entertains the readers.
This book is a very excellent book to read. The enormous crocodile is the main character, and he wants to eat a yummy, juicy child for lunch. I like the characters names. They are very FUNNY, for example: The enormous crocodile, The not so big, crocodile Humpy Rumpy The Hippopotamus, Trunky the Elephant, Muggle Wump the monkey, Roly- Poly bird One of my favorite things in this book are the animals.The best and most funny for me is the monkey. because he is very little, and thin. I recommend this book to little children because it is very entertaining and very short. There are a lot of colorful drawings that were made by Quentin Blake and they make the story easier to understand. The book is very good for older children also, they will love it , but if you want to know the end, READ it. And if you start it you will never leave it. Go running to the bookshop and buy it.

I like this book because it is about animals and i love animals. The end is very, very, very funny. My favorite part is the end, but i can't reveal it. I recommend this book to people who like animals and to the ones that love a very,very,very funny ending. More specifically, its for 8-9 year old children. I like the this book because it is very funny. When the crocodile pretended to be a palm tree, he nearly ate the kids. That part was very fully! He also pretended to be a seesaw hoping the kids would sit on him! The characters that are trying to stop the crocodile are the hippo, the elephant, and the rolly polly bird!
